So great that you've put these pieces up and I can finally see them. This one is just stunning. Makes me think of Fantasia, except this was made by one very talented artist, before even going out and working professionally. Very inspiring.

That was a beautiful and unique film, thanks for sharing. It had a nostolgic mood, and I felt like I was learning too! I'm curious how you colored the drawings.
Awesome.

Thank you everyone visiting MY blog and write me comments! :) soo happy!!

Kelly,
THank you for enjoying my posting. She colored this in Photoshop frame by frame ... take a long time and lots of work ... HA ! HA !! Good that I am just an ice-cream cone not an animator!!

Yours truly,
Minty :)

Hi Alina,
This is my first time to see your film production. It's really amazing! The animation technique is fantastic, I like the facial expression of the characters. The story is very dramatic and philosophical, I think I need to see the film once again to think about the meaning behind. I feel my final project in my undergraduate couse was so shabby compare to your award winning work.

So nice to see your animations. The student film is exceptional student work. So much time and effort goes into an independent animation - especially 2-D work.

I also did a 2-D piece in school and it won a student academy award (back in 1993). I look back on the film now and find it hard to look at, but I learned a lot from the process. It's amazing how much learning I'm continuing to do every day. Thanks for posting the great work from the past.

Wow, this was just awe inspiring, to see such a brilliant film come out of a student. I loved the way it felt like an early Disney short with the naration and very dreamlike quality in the story and images. Really well thought out and put together!

Reminded me a bit of something you'd see in a Fantasia movie as well. Best o all it has a classical feel to it, something that is so rare in animation today. Beautiful special effects animation up there with many professionals. No wonder you got a award for it.

What a great piece. You are so deep. Keep doing your 2danimation. You have a gift.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

Dave Pryor,
Thank you. Would love to see your films someday too!!

Vern,

Thank you. :) Yea ... I still love 2D animation a lot. But have to survive on 3D these days for living, I actually don't mind 3D at all. But if someday, I have time to make my own film again ... it will be a 2D for sure. It's still a more personal and direct media.
